and the hidden treasure
By Paul Hamilton
Percy discovers a new story that sends him on an adventure in the busy streets of New York City. The gods' magic gets stronger in Manhattan, and mysterious shadows start to cover everyone, including Percy and his friends. Together, they have to figure out a tricky plan that goes through famous places in the city. From subway tunnels to tall skyscrapers, Percy learns hidden secrets and faces strong enemies. Time is running out, and Percy needs to solve the puzzle quickly to stop the shadows from causing chaos in the world. Can Percy be brave and clever enough to find the truth and rescue New York from an old danger?
Seriously? Can't I catch a break? It's like trouble follows me around like my own personal shadow
In the midst of the wreckage, Percy contemplates the collateral damage that comes with his existence as a demigod. His shoulders tense with the weight of responsibility as he scans for signs of danger. Yet, despite the turmoil, there's a glimmer of determination in his eyes, a resilient spark that refuses to be extinguished.
If only he knew what was coming
he would run

No time to rest.
As the rain eased, Percy was drawn to a dark alley in New York. A shadow called to him as mist rolled across his view.

He appeared without warning and left just as quickly.
